ABC News Radio anchor George Weber was found stabbed to death in his Brooklyn, NY apartment. Police had investigated Sunday and found the body when co-workers became concerned that he had missed work. According to the New York Daily News, police believe Weber was murdered on Friday evening. Weber, who was 47, had worked many years at WABC-AM New York, before joining the network last year. A statement by ABC News Radio VP/GM Steve Jones expressed shock and said the network has been assisting the police investigation. “Our condolences and prayers go out to George’s family and friends at this very difficult time,” Jones said.
