Musician, actress, producer and American Idol judge Jennifer Lopez is now a.k.a. the one and only Venus Goddess. As the brand’s first-ever “global ambassador,” she’ll inspire women around the world to “reveal the goddess in you,”—feeling their most confident, powerful and beautiful, inside and out.
Lopez will star in all elements of brand’s 2011 campaign which includes TV, print, PR, digital, social media and in-store communications. Gillette spokesperson Samantha Halpern tells RBR-TVBR Gillette Venus has national TV buys on network and cable starting in March 2-11. Some February special buys air during American Idol, Grammys and E! Award season coverage.
The effort also includes Jennifer’s exclusive remake of the 60’s “I’m Your Venus” song, plus the launch of a new NYC-based philanthropic effort dedicated to empowering women through education: the Venus Goddess Fund for Education.
Sonia Fife, GM/Global Venus, P&G Beauty, says Jennifer shared much of her personal experience as part of this campaign, relaxing at home with her children, or performing on-stage.
