'Glee' on Fox wins the 8 pm slot Tuesday

FOX’s Tuesday comedy block won last night among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34, Teens and Adults 25-54.      


At 8p GLEE delivered a 4.6/14 among Adults 18-49, up +5% from its most recent telecast (4.4/12 on 2/22/11). 

With 12 million Total Viewers, last night’s GLEE drew its largest Total Viewers audience since week two (excluding the post-Super Bowl telecast). In addition, GLEE was the highest rated program of the night among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34, Teens and Adults 25-54 and won its 8p hour in those same demos.
              
RAISING HOPE followed with a 2.8/8 among Adults 18-49, up +17% from its last regularly scheduled telecast two weeks ago (2.4/7 on 2/22/11). 

RAISING HOPE was the #2 rated program of the night behind GLEE among Adults 18-34 and Teens and won the 9p half hour in those demos.        
              
At 9:30p TRAFFIC LIGHT posted a 1.5/4 in Adults 18-49, down one-tenth from its performance in the time period two weeks ago (-6%, vs. 1.6/4 on 2/22/11). 

Competition

Following a repeat No Ordinary Family (1.0/3), ABC’s V (1.7/5) was down -6% from last week and matched an original series low (excluding clip-shows). Closing out the night, Detroit 1-8-7 (1.1/3) declined -8% from its last original on 2/15/11.

CBS aired repeats of NCIS (2.3/7), NCIS: Los Angeles (2.6/7), and The Good Wife (1.3/4).

NBC’s Biggest Loser: Couples (2.9/8) gained +21% from last week’s season low but was down -3% from its prior season average.

In addition, Biggest Loser: Couples is down -17% from its comparable spring cycle performance last year (3.0/8 vs. 3.6/9). At 10p, a repeat Parenthood posted a 1.2/4.
