Glenn Beck, Laura Ingraham headed for values conference

The Values Voter Summit is meeting in Washington 10/7-9/11, and will feature appearances by seven Republican presidential candidates – including all the major candidates, according to event co-sponsor Family Research Council Action – and it will also feature two of the biggest conservative voices on radio – Glenn Beck and Laura Ingraham.


Ingraham is on the schedule for Friday 10/7 at 3:25PM, with Beck coming in the next day, Saturday 10/8 at 2:25PM.

FRCA notes that Beck is the third most listened to talk radio host in America, and that Ingraham is number one among politically-oriented women.

The candidates appearing at the event include Gov. Mitt Romney (R-MA), Gov. Rick Perry (R-TX), U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN), former Speaker Newt Gingrich, former Senator Rick Santorum (R-PA), U.S. Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX) and Herman Cain.

There will be many others taking the mic at one time or another, including Governor Bobby Jindal (R-LA), House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH), House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA), U.S. Sen. Roy Blunt (R-MO), U.S. Reps. Jim Jordan (R-OH), Ann Marie Buerkle (R-N.Y.), Vicky Hartzler (R-MO), Mike Pompeo (R-KS) and Steve King (R-IA), Dr. Bill Bennett, Mark Levin, Lt. Gens. William Boykin (U.S. Army-Ret.) and Benjamin Mixon (U.S. Army-Ret.), Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli, Erick Erickson, Ed Morrissey, Heritage Foundation fellow Edwin Meese III, Lila Rose, Phyllis Schlafly and more.

Along with Family Research Council, the 2011 Values Voter Summit is cosponsored by AFA Action, American Values, The Heritage Foundation, Liberty University and Liberty Counsel.

The event will feature a straw poll.
