After mocking Genesis Communications Radio Network talker Alex Jones last week, Glenn Beck said on his radio show this week that President Obama has been planning a civil war in America since he took office.
Beck said the president will use a mass gun crime as evidence that previous gun legislation was not strong enough and will issue an executive order banning and confiscating guns, reports RightWingWatch.org.
Beck says that gun owners will refuse to hand over their weapons, get arrested and fill the jails. This supposedly will overwhelm the legal system and generate opposition to Obama’s violations of the Constitution, noted OpposingViews.com.
Beck predicted that the U.S. government would blame the world’s economic problems on the right-wing gun nuts, eventually leading to NATO planes bombing America, which will be engulfed in a civil war.
Beck also claimed that President Obama had been “push, push, pushing you” to “react violently.”
“They accused you,” he said. “They’ve been calling you a terrorist, a violent threat since the beginning. They’ve built the case already. You are violent… They can’t arrest all of us. They can do it, if they have tragic events. Now, I know this sounds a little like the Jews went to the gas chambers. But that’s crazy? Who would build re-education camps and mass killing centers? It’s the United States of America, there’s no reason to go there, we’re talking about reasonable people. Just as it is with everything in this administration, they present you with a lose-lose situation.”

Meanwhile, on the January 14th edition of Current TV’s “The Young Turks with Cenk Uygur” Alex Jones reacts to comments by Beck about his appearance on Piers Morgan’s CNN show: “Glenn Beck is despicable. He has five guys watching everything I do… I’m sick and tired of him. He’s a punk. He called me a fascist… I’m a constitutional libertarian who loves freedom and my views are my own, and that little piece of trash needs to know this… You jackass mainline conservatives don’t speak for me. You’re the ones that have discredited true conservatism and libertarianism. Thomas Jefferson would spit on you, you little bastard. You little piece of trash. That’s what I have to say to Glenn Beck… They’re a bunch of nelly punks who can’t stand the fact that I’m the one who’s turning the ship around… I’m leading the pack.”
RBR-TVBR observation: And you thought talk radio would be dead after the elections….FAT CHANCE!
