Global Ad Spend Growth: From Jump To Slump

Global advertising spend is projected to surge by some $67.3 billion this year, thanks to a positive first half of 2022 for holding companies and a boost from the U.S. midterm elections and the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar scheduled to begin in November.


While that’s great news, the projections for 2023 courtesy of WARC are less than stellar, as “investment is inhibited by cooling economic conditions and third-party cookie blocking online.”
