Once having an estimated audience of about 3 million daily listeners in LA on SBS’s KLAX-FM, Renán Almendárez Coello’s morning radio show, “El Cucuy de la Mañana”, is back in syndication. “El Cucuy de la Mañana” currently airs on Grupo Latino de Radio’s XEWW-AM W Radio 690am LA Monday-Friday, 5am-10am PT. GLR Networks, the syndication and programming arm of Grupo Latino de Radio, plans on national syndication of the show within the following weeks.
In 2008, One Way Communications announced that after more than two decades as one of the top-ranked talk show hosts in the country, Coello left KLAX to follow his dream of building his own radio network.
The humorous show formatted for Mexican Regional-formatted stations, brings the Hispanic community daily news, interviews, humor and entertainment.
Other GLR content includes information, entertainment, music, and sports, including exclusive radio rights for Chivas de Guadalajara. The network also includes shows such as “Échate Pa’Cá” con Ana María Canseco, “Minuto 60”, “El Valor de tu Dinero” with Pedro Sevcec, “Fútbol Liga Mexicana”, and “40 Principales”.
