With the departure of its SVP/Sales for similar duties in the Tampa-St. Petersburg market,
iHeartMedia had a choice to make on who would become its next sales leader in the Pacific Northwest’s biggest market.

That choice came today, with a promotion at iHeart’s Seattle-Tacoma station group.

Succeeding Russell Robertson in Seattle is Mark Glynn, who rises from VP/Sales for TTWN and iHeart’s KBKS-FM and KUBE-FM after two years in that role. He joined the stations as GSM in December 2013, and had been in a similar role at Entercom/Seattle from May 2010-May 2013. He’s also held stints at ABC Radio and iHeart predecessor Clear Channel.

Glynn reports to Robert Dove, President for iHeartMedia’s Pacific Northwest Region.

“Mark has a successful track record in the Seattle market with strong established relationships,” Dove said. “I look forward to working with him as we continue to leverage iHeartMedia Seattle’s iconic station brands and unmatched market reach to build a robust sales strategy.”

“I’m honored to be given the opportunity to lead the sales organization for iHeartMedia Seattle,” Glynn added. “Audio is booming, and iHeartMedia Seattle is in a fantastic position to help advertisers get their messages heard by leveraging their eight iconic radio stations and lineup of superstar influencer talent.”
