It’s a new 30-minute TV series aimed at entertaining and informing men on everything from new technology/gadgets, travel, fitness, food and sports. It specifically showcases stories, insights, conversation and perspectives on how men live today. Hosted by Cris Collinsworth, NBC Sunday Night Football analyst and former NFL Star, “Inside the Vault” begins airing on WGN America and 18 Tribune broadcast affiliates Friday (2/4).

Of course, product integration will feature Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac vehicles as part of its content, when relevant, but focuses on the viewer experience and omits “sponsored by” branding. The program will also air spots for the cars.

The effort is led by GM’s media AOR, Starcom USA and content-creation agency LiquidThread.

For content, the series includes lifestyle segments from experts at Conde Nast, and automotive insights from Motor Trend magazine. Warner Brothers’  Telepictures Productions is another partner.

The series will also appear online at www.insidethevault.tv, which launches on Thursday (2/3). Content will extend across Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Vimeo and Get Glue.

Tribune affiliates include WPIX New York; KTLA Los Angeles; WGN Chicago; WPHL Philadelphia; KDAF Dallas; WDCW Washington, D.C.; KIAH Houston; WKBD Detroit; KZJO Seattle; WSFL Miami; KTXL Sacramento; KRCW Portland; WXIN Indianapolis; KSWB San Diego; WTIC Hartford; WPMT Harrisburg; WXMI Grand Rapids and WNOL New Orleans.
