Gogo, provider of in-flight Wi-Fi, has launched a major consumer marketing effort to introduce more travelers to the “magic of being in air and online.” The campaign introduces a new tag, “Land on Top of Things” – and centers around an eccentric new spokesperson, Trav Lehrman. The effort employs national and major market television advertising; radio spots featuring popular on-air personalities at CBS radio stations in top U.S. markets; airport based advertising and events; online display and video ads; and social media. The campaign will also feature a sweepstakes to win free Gogo for life and a $10,000 in air, online shopping spree. The contest runs from to Oct. 14.
