Doug Stephan, majority owner of Viva Communications Group LLC, is selling that licensee’s only station, WSDE-AM Cobleskill NY, located to the west of the Albany-Schenectady-Troy NY market.

The buyer is Schoharie Broadcasting LLC, headed by Edward and Alla A. Horak. They should be acutely familiar with the station, since they’ve been running it under terms of an LMA/purchase agreement dating to May 2007.

The price has changed since then. The original 2007 contract called for an eventual purchase for $195K.

Now, the price is $132.8K. $34K is credited to the price as an amount already paid, $86K will be paid in cash at closing, and the remaining $12.8K will be covered when Schoharie makes good on a forfeiture of that amount owed to the FCC.

Stephan retains one station, WTTF-AM Tiffin OH.
