Good night for Biggest Loser on NBC

Tuesday Results:
* From 8-10 p.m. ET, “The Biggest Loser 13” (2.2/6 in 18-49, 6.4 million viewers overall) is up week to week by 5 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 2.2 from a 2.1) and up 4 percent in total viewers (6.353 million vs. 6.114 million), for a three-week high in 18-49.


* “The Biggest Loser 13” grew from its first half-hour to its fourth by 25 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 2.5 from a 2.0) and ranked #2 for its final half-hour among ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW in adults 18-49 ahead of ABC’s premiere of “The River” and Fox’s “Raising Hope.”  For that 9:30 half-hour, “Biggest Loser” was also #1 among those networks in women 18-34
 
* At 10 p.m., “Parenthood” averaged a 1.6/4 in 18-49 and 4.6 million viewers overall.  Note that “Parenthood” has been adding 44 percent to these next-day “live plus same day” ratings when Nielsen issues “live plus seven day” results.

In Late-Night Metered Markets Tuesday night:
* In Nielsen’s 56 metered markets, household results were: “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” 2.8/7; CBS’s “Late Show with David Letterman,” 3.0/8; and ABC’s combo of “Nightline,” 3.2/8; and “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” 1.5/5. 

* In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” 0.9/4; “Late Show,” 0.7/3; “Nightline,” 1.0/4; and “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” 0.5/3.

* At 12:35 a.m., “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” (1.5/5 in metered-market households) beat CBS’s “Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” (1.4/5).  In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, “Late Night” (0.5/3 in 18-49) topped “Late Late Show” (0.4/3).

* At 1:35 a.m., “Last Call with Carson Daly” averaged a 0.9/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
