Google Fiber heading to Portland


GoogleGoogle is already in Kansas City, KS—its first market for the super-high speed, high capacity internet service. Now, Portland, OR’s commissioners voted unanimously last week to approve Google Fiber’s franchise agreement with the city, the biggest milestone to date in the company’s plan to bring hyperfast Internet service to the city.
