Gray Fills Its GM Slot At An Ohio ABC Affiliate

A veteran broadcaster with more than 25 years of broadcast experience has just been given GM duties for an ABC affiliate in the Buckeye State owned by Gray Television.

Taking the role at WTVG-13 in Toledo is Chris Fedele.

He joins WTVG after spending the last 10 years as Director/Sales & Marketing for NBC affiliate WLEX-18 in Lexington, Ky., owned by Cordillera Communications.

Prior to that, he spent five years as the President/GM of Quincy Media‘s ABC affiliate WPTA-21 in Fort Wayne, Ind., after a nine-year run that included stints as GSM, LSM and NSM.

The appointment of Fedele allows Pete Veto to concentrate on his role as GM of ABC affiliate WJRT-12 in Flint, Mich.; Veto had been overseeing both stations “after too many years of sacrificing personal time to maintaining the market-leading positions of both stations,” Gray notes.
