Fans and advertisers of Greater Media radio stations are being invited to help protect their favorite stations by protesting the Performance Rights Act. The group has created a special website at helpsaveradio.org that explains the issues and invites them to sign a petition and weigh in with their local legislators. The website and petition program is being supported with on-air announcements. “The proposed performance royalty bill could be potentially devastating to all of us who work in radio and all those who depend on radio for financial and community support,” said Greater Media Chairman/CEO Peter Smyth.
