The new 100.1 WJRZ-FM, serving The Jersey Shore from Toms River/Manahawkin, NJ is now playing the greatest hits of the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. Artists include The Beatles, Michael Jackson, Chicago, Barry White, The Doobie Brothers, The Supremes, Madonna, Elton John and many more. The station previously branded itself as “Oldies 100”
“WJRZ-FM is now playing the heritage soundtrack of the Jersey Shore,” said Daniel A. Finn, Senior Vice President and Regional General Manager of Greater Media New Jersey. “We’re returning to the legacy of WJRZ’s roots.”
The station will remain jock-free until the first week of May, concentrating on the music that our listeners grew up with. The new on air line-up will be announced in the near future.
100.1 WJRZ-FM originally debuted back on July 4, 1976.
