While the 3-2 GOP-fueled approval of a rewrite of the nation’s “KidVid” rules proved to bring both applause and anger following the FCC‘s July Open Meeting, there was little dissent on another “modernization” advancement put up for a vote on Wednesday.
In an unanimous vote, the FCC continued to take steps to update its notification rules for cable and satellite TV providers by proposing to transition required notices to broadcast TV stations from paper to electronic delivery.
