On-demand music streaming service Grooveshark.com recently struck a major deal with EMI. On 10/27 Grooveshark will now be going live at 12:01AM with a new version. The main changes will be in the interface itself, making the site more customizable to the users (themes, layout, resizing, etc) and much more social (easier to share playlists, etc). The launch of Grooveshark Mobile is also coming within a few weeks.
Maintaining the core search and play functionality, Grooveshark has added behind the scenes performance tweaks as well as a brand new, more intuitive user interface to make it a better desktop music app–but all in the user’s browser.
