Growing Group Adds National Rep

The Tacher CompanyKristin Cantrell, owner of Seven Mountains Media, has been adding stations of late via the acquisition route – and now is adding a national rep service, The Tacher Company, with an eye toward bringing in national revenue.

The rep deal includes: WZWW-FM, WBHV-FM, WEMR-FM & WOWY-FM, all serving State College, WMRF-FM & WIEZ-AM Lewistown; WLAK-FM Huntingdon, WJUN-FM Mexico; and WLZS-FM Beaver Springs.

All nine stations were acquired fairly recently. Three – WBHV, WOWY and WFMR – came in a $2.05M deal with 2510 Inc. announced last September and brokered by Patrick Communications and Bergner & Co. Tacher was already the rep for the trio.

The other stations will be new to the Tacher client list.

WJUN and WLZS were acquired in a November deal with STarview Media valued at $650K and brokered by Patrick Communications.

Cantrell said, “We feel it makes sense to put all the stations under one rep firm and are aware of the great job Tacher did for 2510 Licenses.  We look forward to working with Tacher and growing revenue on all 9 stations.”
