Mandalay Entertainment and Mosaic Media Investment Partners are joining Guggenheim Partners in the acquisition of Dick Clark Productions. The seller was Dan Snyder’s Red Zone Capital Management.

DCP produces the Golden Globes award program, “New Years Rockin’ Eve,” “So You Think You Can Dance,” a Country music award program and the Miss Universe pageant, among other things.

Last week, before a deal was ready to announce, speculators put the price tag for the company at about $385M, a good piece of change north of a reported $350M original asking price. Late word from Reuters note the price was $370M. However, there was no official announcement on pricing.

According to The Wrap, Snyder is enjoying a significant return on his original investment in the company – he is said to have paid only $175M for it back in 2008.

The late Dick Clark, who died earlier this year, has not had a financial stake in the company since 2002.
