The contract for the acquisition of NextMedia by Dean Goodman’s new Digity LLC radio group is expected to be made public any day now. And we do have details on a related deal – the sale of two suburban Chicago FMs to Matrix Broadcasting LLC.
Matrix, primarily owned by Star Media Group broker Peter Handy, is acquiring WZSR-FM Woodstock IL and WFXF-FM Dundee IL from Elliot Evers, Trustee of The Mile High Stations Trust, working on behalf of NextMedia Group. Evers is a broker with Media Venture Partners.
