Airing against the highly-rated Grammy Awards on CBS, FOX ranked No. 3 for the night among Adults 18-49 and No. 2 among Adults 18-34 and Teens.
At 8p THE SIMPSONS posted a 2.4/6 among Adults 18-49. CLEVELAND at 8:30p delivered a 2.2/5, FAMILY GUY at 9p did a 3.2/7 and AMERICAN DAD followed with 2.5/5 among Adults 18-49. TIL DEATH delivered a 0.8/2 at 7p and 0.9/2 at 7:30p.
Competition
Following America’s Funniest Home Videos (2.4/7) at 7p, ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition (2.2/5) delivered its lowest 8p original of the season. Desperate Housewives (3.7/8) and Brothers & Sisters (2.4/6) both posted their lowest original ratings ever, down -21% and -25% from their prior season averages (4.7/11 and 3.2/8, respectively).
On CBS, a low 60 Minutes posted a 2.2/6 while the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards (10.0/24) was up significantly from last year’s telecast (7.4/18 on 2/8/09).
NBC ran a two-hour Dateline Sunday (0.9/2) at 7p, followed by the special SNL: Sports All-Stars (1.2/3) at 9p.
