On April 10, 2017, Mike Hartel was promoted from the role of SVP/Market Manager for Alpha Media‘s Columbia, S.C., station group to VP of the Mid-Atlantic Region.
He’s now received a shiny new title to tack on to his resume.
Hartel has just been named EVP of Alpha Media’s Mid-Atlantic Region.
This will see him oversee the company’s stations in Columbia, S.C.; Fredericksburg, Va.; Hagerstown-Chambersburg, Pa.; Bluefield, W. Va.; and in Canton and Dayton, Ohio.
He will also be working on special company revenue-oriented projects.
Hartel is a 25-year industry veteran who spent 12 years as a VP/General Manager with Curtis Media Group in Raleigh before joining Alpha Media.
He has also been a GSM for Clear Channel in Raleigh, and started his career as an Account Executive with Katz Media, in New York.
