HOLLYWOOD — The partial shutdown of the Federal government has left bathrooms at national parks filthy and the National Mall an unsightly mess in spots. It has also led to a cessation of most operations at the FCC.
In response to a question from NBC News Capitol Hill Correspondent Kasie Hunt at a midday press scrum, in which she asked “Are you willing to let this shutdown last, Mr. President?,” President Trump responded, with Vice President Trump standing by his side, “Whatever it takes.”
Could this potentially long-lasting work stoppage of the Federal government ice any deal-making activity? While the CDBS remains “on,” there have been no new deals posted since the partial shutdown.
