There’s a new EVP/Insights, Research and Data Analytics at iHeartMedia, starting Nov. 27, and this individual comes on board after a decade running her own consultancy following stints at Yahoo! and bbdo, where she began her career 25 years ago.

She replaces Radha Subramanyam, who is taking a big research post at CBS Corp.

Joining iHeart after a decade on her own is Dr. Michele Madansky. She will report to Peter Ban, the company’s EVP/Revenue & Sales Operation.

Once settled in to her new duties, Madansky will develop and manage a variety of data and research efforts involving digital analytics, ratings and measurement, ad sales research, mobile measurement, programming analysis, music research, campaign measurement/attribution and marketing research.

Her responsibilities will include providing unique audience and consumer analytics across iHeartMedia’s vast array of operations, which encompass radio broadcasting, online, mobile, digital and social media, live concerts and events, television, syndication, and independent media representation.

“Michele has an expansive track record providing cutting edge analytics for a wide variety of today’s biggest media companies,” said Ban. “We’re thrilled she’ll be shaping our research efforts and ensuring our advertising partners are best utilizing iHeartMedia’s unparalleled reach and multiplatform assets.”

From 2003 to 2007, Madansky served as VP/Global Market Research for Yahoo! From 1992-1997, she served as the first interactive specialist at advertising agency BBDO.

The appointment comes as Subramanyam on Monday (11/6) takes the role of EVP/Chief Research & Analytics Officer for CBS Television.
