CBS’ re-imagined Hawaii Five-0 TV drama series which premiered 9/20 includes numerous scenes unfolding at Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort & Spa’s tropical setting. The resort “hangs ten” with the Hawaii Five-0 cast throughout the season through an array of property shots that will set the scene and support on- and off-duty action.
The TV series will also feature two Hilton Hawaiian Village signature sequences that showcase the resort and some of its hallmark experiences. The 10/25 episode included beauty shots of The Rainbow Tower and pathway near the Super Pool, as well as a scene at hot spot Tropics Bar & Grill where the Blue Hawaii cocktail, which was invented at the resort, makes a colorful cameo.
The first wave of Hawaii Five-0 celebrations includes:
•Hawaii Five-0 Branding Elements. Official Hawaii Five-0 ringtone cards at select Hilton Hotels & Resorts properties – complimentary for guests through 11/5
•The TV series airs Monday nights in Tropics Bar & Grill at Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort & Spa along with prizes for lucky patrons and two action-packed theme drinks:
•Hawaii Five-0 Cocktail – Absolut Raspberri blended with blue curacao and a touch of sweet and sour with strawberry puree
•Book ‘em Danno! Mocktail – Blue raspberry puree blended with sweet and sour and a splash of soda with strawberry puree
The year 2011 marks the 50th anniversary, or Year “Five-0,” of the Hilton Hotels & Resorts brand’s presence in Hawaii. The anniversary will be celebrated with special events, packages and promotions throughout the year beginning in January.
