Hispanic Radio Podcast: The ROI Of Regional Mexican Radio

0

Take a look at the most recent Nielsen Audio ratings for Los Angeles, and you’ll see several regional Mexican stations in the middle of the pack, between No. 16 and No. 25.

The share compression for the regional Mexican format in the nation’s No. 1 Hispanic market is highly visible. Competition is fierce, with four stations going after a largely similar slice of the Hispanic radio audience combining for a 8.2 share of the total listener pie.

In August 2018, the regional Mexican station that stood out from the pack is LBI Media‘s KBUE-FM “Qué Buena”. In this latest Hispanic Radio Podcast, produced for the 2018 Radio Show in Orlando, RBR+TVBR Editor-in-Chief Adam R Jacobson catches up with Mariano Amador, GSM of the radio stations owned and operated by Liberman Broadcasting in Southern California.

The topic of this podcast: the big return on investment embracing regional Mexican programming could have for your station group. Jacobson and Amador review the top three advertiser categories right now, and how one beer brand has become a valued partner in ways that go beyond the on-air spot.
