A Lazer Target On Regional Mexican Listeners

0

In August 1991, an Oxnard, Calif.-based FM radio station embraced a hit-driven regional Mexican format, using the branding “Radio Lazer.”

Today, this station serves as the anchor for Lazer Broadcasting, a privately held operator of Spanish-language radio stations across the Golden State owned by Alfredo Plascencia.

Also helping to oversee the operations at Lazer is COO Joshua Mednick. In 2019, he’ll be charged with helping grow “Radio Lazer” and two other Lazer radio brands in ways that could also bring strong ROI to your cluster.

“Radio Lazer” is now being syndicated by the Pat Fant-led SuiteRadio LLC.

This new 24/7 format is represented exclusively on a national level by Envision Networks.

To learn why Lazer is bringing its take on regional Mexican programming to the nation, and how both Envision and SuiteRadio are involved, Mednick sat down with RBR+TVBR Editor-in-Chief Adam R Jacobson in this lively and informative Hispanic Radio Podcast.
