That’s as in low power. Gaspar Cota’s non-profit Hosanna Apostolic Ministries Broadcasting Corporation has filed four contracts to buy five low power TVs and four TV translators located in seven states from three different sellers. It’s all coming for $950K, most of which is prepaid in full.

The lone exception is the contract for WUVI-LP West Lafayette IN and WIVC-LP Charlottesville VA. That pair is coming from Hispanic Christian Community Network for $200K. $55K of that total will be prepaid, with the remaining $145K remitted pursuant to terms of a promissory note.

Cota has another deal with HCCN, for KQKC-LP Topeka KS, KEGG-LP McAlester OK and K23HF Woodville TX. This one goes for $75K prepaid.

Daniel Gomez is selling KLAO-LP Corpus Christi to Cota’s group for $150K prepaid.

The biggest of the four contracts is for three of the translators. Coming from Comunidad Misionera de Adoracion Inc., the stations are K44GW Hereford TX, serving Amarillo, K14LV Cheyenne WY and W28CP Summerland Key FL in the Miami-Ft. Lauderdale DMA. This contract specifies a $525K prepaid price.
