History and Delivery Agent, provider of shopping-enabled entertainment, announced the extension of their partnership to include fully integrated interactive auctions. The first application included a fully synchronized, in-program, consumer auction tied to the premiere of all new episodes of History’s hit television series, Pawn Stars, on 11/30 at 10 pm.

Pawn Stars takes viewers inside the world and history of the pawning business with the Harrison family’s Las Vegas based pawn shop, and when the series returned, viewers were treated to a real-time auction featuring product seen on Pawn Stars. As the Harrison family evaluates different items to add to their pawn shop, viewers have the unique opportunity to bid and actually own the products being discussed on-air. The items which viewers can bid on will include: 1946 Hamilton Chronometer, 1864 Confederate $20.00 bill and a Steve Kaufman serigraph of Hugh Hefner. (Each item will come with a Certificate of Authenticity by A&E Television Networks, LLC.)

While watching, viewers will see on-air “call outs” driving to History’s commerce site, which can be found at: www.history.com/auction. The auction will run simultaneously to the start of the Pawn Stars premiere episode on Monday, November 30 at 10:00 pm and run through Tuesday, December 8 at 6:00 pm.

100% of the net proceeds from the auction will benefit the Harrison families’ charity of choice, the Las Vegas Rescue Mission, which is dedicated to improving the quality of life for the homeless, addicted, and needy through food, shelter, recovery and employment training programs.
