A rise in sales of existing homes brought some pre-Christmas joy to the stock markets. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 51 points, or 0.5%, to 10,465. TV stocks joined in the merriment, but Ebenezer Scrooge apparently controlled radio stock trading.
The RBR Radio Index was down 2.459, or 1.2%, to 199.519.
The TVBR Television Index was up 1.336, or 1.1%, to 124.865.
