‘House’ wins Monday 8pm hour in key demos

FOX dominated last night, 11/30/09, with its HOUSE/LIE TO ME lineup, gaining +6% week over week and ranking #1 for the night among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34, Teens, Total Viewers and all key demos.  In fact, last night FOX substantially outperformed its Fall’08 Monday average by +65% among Adults 18-49, +75% among Adults 18-34 and +65% in Total Viewers.


In the 8p hour HOUSE posted a 4.8/12 among Adults 18-49, up +4% in the adult demo and +10% in Total Viewers versus last week. Last night’s HOUSE won the 8p hour among Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34, Adults 25-54, Teens (tie) and all key demos

At 9p LIE TO ME posted a 2.7/6 among Adults 18-49, the same as its past two weeks, and showed a week to week gain in Total Viewers (+6%). LIE TO ME ranked No. 2 in the 9p hour among Adults 18-49 and No. 1 in Adults 18-34.

Competition
ABC’s annual holiday specials How The Grinch Stole Christmas (2.9/8) and Shrek The Halls (3.2/8) both fell short of their performances on the same night last year (3.8/9 and 3.4/9).  Week two of new reality series Find My Family posted a 2.3/5 at 9p, down -21% from its series debut last Monday (2.9/7).  At 10p, a repeat Castle delivered a 1.9/5.

CBS aired repeats of How I Met Your Mother (2.1/5), Accidentally on Purpose (1.7/4), Two & A Half Men (3.1/8), Big Bang Theory (3.3/8) and CSI: Miami (2.5/6).
NBC’s Heroes (2.5/6) and Trauma (1.8/4) were all in line with their recent performances while The Jay Leno Show (1.3/3) was down -7% against CBS and ABC repeats.
