Bruce Munsterman’s noncommercial Houston Christian Broadcasters Inc. is getting its second station outside of Texas, as well as its second outside of Shreveport LA, taking advantage of Mark Acker’s longstanding project to disassemble the Metropolitan Radio Group. The station is KORI-FM, a C3 broadcasting on 104.7 MHz. Jamie Rasnick of brokerage John Pierce & Company handled the deal, which goes into the books at $150K cash. KORI is licensed to Mansfield LA, about 30 miles south of Shreveport. HCBI’s only other non-Texas station, KHCL-FM Arcadia LA, is about 50 miles east of that same Louisiana city.
