Houston pirate walks the plank

Most of the individuals who go into business on the FM band without FCC permission seem to do so in Florida or in and around New York City. So Radhames Severino’s 101.5 MHz unlicensed operation in Houston TX at least provides some geographical novelty to the ongoing battle against piracy on the airwaves. Severino has been hit with the standard $10K fine.

RBR/TVBR observation: What we’d really like to see, just for the sake of novelty, is a pirate TV station. We’ve been looking for one for quite awhile now – and we guess we’ll have to keep looking.
