HPR Acquires Its Main Kauai Facility

PAIA, HAWAII — Until now, Hawai’i Public Radio has been using a Class C2 facility with 1kw at some 2,800 above sea level to reach the Hawaiian isle of Kauai — and a booster based in Kilauea — owned by a religious organization.


That relationship is now ending: HPR is buying the FM and its booster.
