Are Hubbard, Bonneville, And Four Others Secured CBS Spins?

Radio’s “Wheel of Fortune” is turning, and who’s getting some valuable spins is the talk of the industry.

As RBR+TVBR reported in a Breaking News update Tuesday afternoon, Pacific time, 11 CBS Radio stations and 5 Entercom properties have been earmarked for divestment in order for the companies to complete their Reverse Morris Trust-fueled merger.

Executives from both companies assure that the combination of the two broadcast radio entities is on track for a Q4 close. While the broker directly involved in the spinoffs isn’t talking, there’s much speculation as to who’s getting what. The consensus says Hubbard Radio and Bonneville International are all but assured stations.

Swaps are also about to happen, and Securities and Exchange Commission filing some 300 pages in length uncovers, and one broker who spoke on the record believes another company is about to engage in such trades: iHeartMedia.

Don’t count out three other players that could get involved, brokers and an industry veteran predict.
