WQLS-AM is changing hands, forming the basis for a new group in Alabama. The Ozark AL station is just northwest of Dothan. It will be going from Wayne North’s Horizon Broadcasting Company to Hughey Communications for $50K in a straight cash deal. Hughey, headed by Randall and Debra Hughey, already owns WACQ-AM Carrville AL, serving the Montgomery AL area.
