IA early bird sparks speculation

There was a presidential campaign of some notoriety held in 2008. Since it is no longer 2008, it must be time to start the next presidential campaign. That may well be why a senator from the tumbleweeds and cactus of Nevada already plans to poke around the cornfields of early caucus state Iowa. According to TheHill.com, Sen. John Ensign (R-NV) was participating in the American Future Fund’s Conservative Lecture Series. He managed to work several other events into his schedule, and already his staff is denying any designs on the White House.

RBR/TVBR observation: We won’t be impressed until he starts ponying up for some advertising. Until then, we’ve had our fill of presidential election coverage for now, thank you very much.
