DORAL, FLA. — The Independent Broadcasters Association (IBA) presented its first IBA Members-Only “In-Focus” Conference on Wednesday at the Intercontinental at Doral in Miami.

The inaugural one-day event drew attendees from across the country, representing more than 500 radio stations owned and operated by independent broadcasters.

The conference focused on the needs and challenges of owners, managers, and sales managers, with speakers that delivered real-world, immediately implemental solutions for increasing traditional, new business, and digital revenue. The conference also presented discussions on FCC and legal regulations.

“We are thrilled with the fabulous turnout and the response from our attendees,” said Adams Media Group head Ron Stone, who also serves as President and Executive Director of IBA. Stone confirmed the event will occur again in 2023, with year-round members-only webinars also on tap.

Vipology and Marketron were among the presenters, while ARC CEO Jason Bailey delivered the keynote.

The IBA In-Focus Conference was held in conjunction with the two-day Radio Masters Sales Summit, which is co-presented by Streamline Publishing’s Radio Ink and the Center for Sales Strategy.
