SoldA standalone AM station that serves the Pocatello market is going to a new owner. The media market is part of the Idaho Falls-Pocatello Nielsen DMA for television rating purposes.

The station is KRTK-AM, licensed to nearby Chubbock ID.

The seller is Inspirational Family Radio Inc., headed by President Beth A. Schafer.

The buyer is Snake River Radio LLC, headed by Managing Member Ted Austin.

The price is $80,000 cash.

For radio, the two Idaho cities are considered separately, and not by Nielsen. Radio ratings come from Eastlan.

KRTK-AM is a Class C on 1490 kHz with 1 kW-U, ND. It provides fine coverage of Pocatello but only throws its outermost fringe contour over Idaho Falls.
