From 8:30-11:45 p.m., NBC SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL, featuring the Philadelphia Eagles at the New York Giants, averaged a 13.8/22 in metered-market households.  It’s the top SNF result in the metered markets in four weeks.

Fast affiliate-based ratings currently available from Nielsen are not time zone-adjusted and are subject to significant revision for live events such as football.  While those numbers are likely to shift somewhat in official nationals, they currently show SNF winning its time period in adults 18-49, total viewers and numerous other categories and NBC ranking #1 for the night in 18-49, total viewers and other key categories.

NBC SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL is the #1 program of the night in the metered markets (excludes overruns of NFL day games) on a night that included ABC’s EXTREME MAKEOVER: HOME EDITION and the Oprah Winfey special CHRISTMAS AT THE WHITE HOUSE, CBS’s 60 MINUTES and Fox’s THE SIMPSONS, CLEVELAND SHOW and FAMILY GUY.

NBC is #1 for the night in metered-market households with the highest average rating for any network on a Sunday night in four weeks.

NOTE: All national ratings are “live plus same day” from Nielsen Media Research unless otherwise indicated.  Metered-market household ratings are live only
