Democrat and RepublicanSome 168 Democrats in the House are pushing FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler to require broadcasters to drill down and reveal exactly who is buying political ads.

The point would be to increase transparency ahead of the presidential elections.

Energy and Commerce Committee Members John Yarmuth (D-Ky.) and Anna Eshoo (D-Calif.) lead the effort.
