Brendan-DelToroiHeart is going after political dollars with a vengeance.

With an extensive resume in electoral politics, Brendon DelToro is now vice president of Political Strategy for iHeartMedia’s Washington, DC-based Political and Advocacy team.

He’ll manage iHeartMedia’s high-level relationships with conservative candidates, parties, Independent Expenditures, Super PACs and other political organizations. He will also work closely with Adam Weiss, the company’s Vice President, Political Strategy for progressive candidates and organizations, to help run the company’s so-called “War Room,” which will track 2,000 national, statewide and local elections across 150+ markets. In addition, DelToro will support the political sales team across iHeartMedia’s markets.

DelToro “is a battle-tested skilled politico and I’m confident that he will make a difference during this year’s elections and beyond,” says Kenny Day, Senior Vice President, Political Sales and Strategy. DelToro reports to Day.

DelToro was most recently campaign manager for Rep. Marlin Stutzman of Indiana, who’s running for a seat in the U.S. Senate. DelToro is one of several aides who left the campaign over differences of opinion between them and Stutzman over direction.

Prior to joining the Stutzman campaign, he worked for Indiana Rep. Jackie Walorski, overseeing official and political operations as her Chief of Staff and spearheading the Congresswoman’s election and re-election campaigns as her Campaign Manager. DelToro also previously worked as Deputy Campaign Manager for Governor Jack Dalrymple in North Dakota, managing the Governor’s primary convention campaign for the nomination. His background also includes managing campaigns in New Jersey, running field operations for the North Dakota Republican Party, and working on the staff of Georgia Governor Sonny Perdue.
