iHeartMediaiHeartMedia is expanding is platforms again — into Canada and with virtual reality.


­Universal Music Group and iHeart are partnering to create “immersive virtual reality peformances and experiences” for U.S. audiences. They’re looking for other brands to partner with them to connect brands and products to consumers at iHeartRadio concerts.

The iHeartRadio digital service in Canada will showcase content from Bell Media, Canada’s largest radio broadcaster with 106 licensed radio stations. When it launches this year, iHeartRadio in Canada will provide access to the live radio feature offering listeners Bell Media broadcast and digital-only radio stations across mobile, auto dashboards, tablets and smartphones, gaming consoles and wearables. The partnership will also bring iHeartRadio-branded events to Canada.
