Clear Channel Radio’s iHeartRadio is now available on Microsoft’s Xbox 360  entertainment console. The iHeartRadio service on Xbox offers users the chance to control their favorite iHeartRadio stations with their voice or hand via Kinect for Xbox 360. Xbox LIVE Gold members who have Xbox 360 but do not have Kinect can still enjoy the iHeartRadio using their controller.

All Xbox LIVE Gold members will have access to the iHeartRadio’s features, including more than 800 live broadcast and digital-only radio stations from 150 cities, plus custom stations.

Xbox 360 users are also able to connect their iHeartRadio accounts to Xbox LIVE for immediate access to iHeartRadio services and social features via  iHeartRadio’s relationship with Facebook.

This initiative builds on Clear Channel’s and Microsoft’s previous partnerships to integrate iHeartRadio on Windows Phone 7 as well as to stream the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas, in HD exclusively on the Xbox 360.

RBR-TVBR observation: This is the beginning of a long battle with Pandora for integration in consumer electronics devices and the dashboard. Bear in mind, just on the consumer electronics side, Pandora is already bundled with many WiFi radios, home theater systems, Blu-Ray players, TV sets, etc.
