Illinois Center for Broadcasting opens new campus

The Illinois Center for Broadcasting in Lombard is celebrating the Grand Opening of their new campus 10/22. ICB also announced the recent addition of their new Hispanic Broadcasting Training Program.


ICB will be hosting its Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting from 12 pm to 2pm at its new location, 455 Eisenhower Lane S, Suite 200, Lombard, Illinois. Guests at this Ribbon Cutting Ceremony (as of this date) will include Secretary of State Jesse White, Governor Quinn Advisors Billy Ocasio and Milly Santiago, Alberto Foncerrada (Liaison to Chicago Mexican Consulate), Senator William Delgado (Dist 2), Representative Sandra Pihos (Dist 42), County Board Chairman Bob Schillerstrom (DuPage), Lombard Mayor William Mueller and Village President David Hulseberg, DuPage County Board members Rita Gonzalez, Jeff Redick and JR McBride; as well as Dr. Darlene Ruscitti (DuPage Regional Office of Education).

Broadcasting pros include Pat Cassidy and Eric “Mancow” Muller (WLS); Dave Navarro, Nancy Pender, Byron Harlan, Kori Chambers, Jan Jeffcoat, and David Viggiano of Fox 32; Eddie Webb and Marv Nyren of Emmis/The Loop and more.

ICB’s 15,000 square foot facility has three internet radio stations, 18 audio studios, state of the art TV studios with virtual reality set capabilities, and six classrooms. ICB in Lombard is also celebrating the launch of their student run Sports Internet Radio Station – www.SportsTownChicago.com.
