Insurance, Fast Food Dominate Cable Spot Ten


Insurance sure does love cable. Last week, Progressive was the biggest advertiser on cable, up from third position, running 42,976 spots. GEICO, a heavyweight advertiser across platforms, held onto second spot with 38,554 ads. And at fourth, Liberty Mutual Insurance has gone up a place from last week by running 32,222 ads. Dove, The Home Depot, and Domino’s were the new entries to the Cable Spot Ten this week, while the other fast food giants in the Ten — Burger King (down from first place to third), Taco Bell, and McDonald’s — more or less held steady.
