On this chart, Burger King is No. 1.

The QSR took the top spot in last week’s Media Monitors Cable Spot Ten report, with 40,216 spots.

Where were McDonald’s and Wendy’s? Not in the top 10, as the two fast food chains battle for supremacy over fresh vs. frozen beef patties.

In fact, the lone QSR on the Spot Ten was Taco Bell, which dropped to No. 5 with 29,170 ads.

Insurance remains the top category at the moment for cable TV, and Liberty Mutual Insurance moved up to No. 2 with 35,419 ads. GEICO slipped to No. 3 with 34,964 commercials. Allstate appeared at No. 4 with 32,934 spots, as Progressive fell to No. 8 clearing 25,570 ads.  State Farm held on to No. 10 running 21,373 spots.

It’s nearly tax day, and TurboTax held steady at No. 6 with 28,020 commercials. But neither H&R Block nor Jackson Hewitt Tax Services were present in the Spot Ten for cable TV.
