La Crosse, WI – Lead and motivate our programming team to deliver consistent and professional content on our six station websites, supporting websites and social media.
In your role as Interactive Media Director, you will assist the sales team with selling digital including internet advertising, website design to advertising customers, and assistance with understanding social media.
This position reports to the Operations Manager.
The ideal candidate will have at least two years’ experience in graphic design and web development.
Experience in WordPress and Adobe Creative Suite is a must. Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or Website Development is preferred.
This position requires exceptional communication, negotiating and presentation skills, as well the ability to interact successfully and positively in a participatory climate, working openly and effectively with all departments.
Prior on-air experience required. Knowledge of and ability to work with diverse music genres, excellent on-air performance, familiarity with programming.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Develop effective online marketing strategies for our customers.
Be able to stay up‐to‐date and understand current digital trends and how they can be utilized by La Crosse Media Group and/or our advertising customers.
Must understand and uphold all copyright and Internet laws and regulations.
Ensure that La Crosse Media Group’s digital presence is compliant with all laws and regulations.
Assist Sales Manager with establishing digital marketing goals for the sales team.
Provide monthly station website reports to programming, sales and leadership teams.
Participate in weekly brainstorming and planning sessions.
Keep score. When possible, use analytical tools to develop, track and measure interactive media.
Be active in community based organizations.
Stay abreast of competitive conditions.
