In 2002, he first found fame behind the mic as the top-rated nighttime host on the Evansville, Ind., station then-known as WLFW-FM 93.5 “The Wolf” under South Central Broadcasting ownership.
Now, he’s waking up listeners at a Philadelphia radio station — experience that has led him to launch his own peer-to-peer show prep service.
It’s led by “Coop,” the on-air name for Sean Tabler. As “Coop,” he’s been in the morning slot at Entercom-owned Hot AC WTDY-FM 96.5 in Philadelphia, and he’s been with Entercom since November 2018. Thanks to voice tracking, he’s also the midday air personality at Entercom’s WYCD-FM in Detroit.
Introducing COOPedUP Prep — with a goal of offering “professional and major market quality show prep services to a host and/or personality.”

Tabler says that the idea for the show prep service originated way back at The Wolf, some 18 years ago. “I wasn’t making a whole lot of money,” he says. “They weren’t providing a prep service and I kept thinking, ‘Why isn’t there something that does this … just a peer-to-peer payment system so that I don’t have to rely on a company to get great show prep?'”
COOPedUP Prep hopes to set itself apart by being multi-format in nature.
